These fascinating-looking objects are rich with history and symbolism. A ‘Lover’s Eye’ is a piece of jewellery decorated with a portrait of an eye of a loved one. Wearing one of these pieces could represent an expression of love (usually a secret lover), or the loss of a loved one.
